My Sicily trip DAY 6

MONDAY

My hand was swollen, and itchy as well.. it got worse as days go by. Finally, Giuseppe brought me to the Guardia Medica and got an injection. I KNEW IT!!! That’s way I hate going to the doctors. They always give you injections.. fever, allergy etc.. The problem is that he should gave me the injection a little bit above the buttock, but I think it was too early in the morning or my ass is too cute, (lol !) he injected me on the bone! It hurts like hell and I got a bruise there, for 2 days.

Anyway, we starved ourselves in the morning, eating as little as possible, because finally we are going to San Giovanni!! Well, what so special you might ask…. Let me explain, there in San Giovanni, we are going to a Agriculture Restaurant, of which you pay 16euro per person and you can have 10 starters, 2 main courses, 1 second course (which will probably be grilled lamb chop), fruits and pastries!!!! We have to leave our stomach as empty as possible so that we can fill it up later!

We left home around noon, driving a FIAT that is almost in pieces, hoping that we will be able to reach the top of the mountain without breaking down…Along the way, we stopped at some reserved parks but unfortunately they were all closed.

At the restaurant, there were only 6 customers including us. The food was good. Especially the starters and the ricotta. Giuseppe wasn’t satisfy though… complaining that they weren’t AS GOOD AS he expected… Oh well, I enjoyed that afternoon….

After lunch, we stopped at a small church known for the founding of a statue of Santa Rosalia laying in the cave. It was found in the 15th century, that means it existed even earlier than that! To see the statue, we have to lowered ourselves to crawl for 30meters in a very small and narrow cave. Again, I’m the 1st Malaysia who signed the guest book. *wink wink*

We then spent ’LA NOTTE DELLA FERRAGOSTA’ sleeping on the beach in the cold. A sleeping bag for 2 person is not exactly a good idea…. It’s more an occasion for young kids with group of friends, setting up bon fire on the beach, BBQ and to stay whole night awake, and perhaps do some crazy things like swim in the sea after midnight… but us, unless we go dancing, or else it’s going to be just like any other day.

We got home around 4, sleepy.
