Clandestine

After today, I will be a Malaysian without living permit working in Brescia... damn..I'm scared.

Seriously. For days I can't think of anything else except the fact that I'm not going to get my work permit in the meanwhile, thanks to the sindacate, giving me the wrong information, and insisted till I told them about 'what they should have known but not telling me'. Thanks to them, I will have to wait for another 'who knows how many' month or the next Decrete Flussi - a period of which foreigners can request the work permit.

So the problem are :
1. I don't have a living permit, and I can't renew it since I don't have the autorization from the state nor a school certificate.
2. I have started working since January, holding a study permit, which allow me to work for max 20 hours per week. But neither do I nor the company knew about it because documents are sent to the state's government in the beginning but they didn't object .. I have been working for 40hours per month since then. And now I find myself in deep shit....
3. The Decreto Flussi was in March. In January the sindacate told me to send the request. And insisted that what I have done is right when I asked them in February after recieving an sms about DF. Till Thursday they were still saying the same thing..Damn! They were supposed to protect expats!
4. My living permit expired TODAY.
5. I can't leave Italy without a living permit..what am I going to do on Christmas? And our plan to visit Prague before it uses Euro...

What could be the worst that can happen??

La dolce vita isn't that dolce at all. Instead, it's a chaos..

See http://www.rivelazioni.com/mm/bozzetto/eu-it.shtml and you will understand how 'colourful' life is in Italy.

However, at least one problem is for now solved. The residence. I was living in Milan the 1st year, the 2rd and 3rd in Florence, Never declare my residence when I was there but now they ask for it in Brescia. Luckily I know a super dooper nice girl near the lake. So I went to San Felice on Saturday and we spent th weekend together. Sunday morning we were at Campione, accompany her bf who went there for windsurfing. Life was beautiful when you were relaxed at the lake... Santo Felice (Happy saint. Felice means Happy in Italian) did blessed me with some happiness.... Now I do feel better and calmer than before. And are ready to fight for my right as well!
